The server is a member of the assembly who assists the priests and deacon during Mass and other ceremonies so that the liturgy can be conducted with grace and reverence.  Servers should be active and full participants in the celebration with the understanding that they are first and foremost members of the assembly.  The server expresses this by praying and keeping silence.

All children (age 8 and up) and teens who want to serve God and his church are welcome to join!

Duties

• Assist the priest during Mass

• Assist the sacristan before and after Mass                                                                                                      

• Ring the bells

• Carry the cross, candles, incense

• Help set up before and clean up after Mass
